Child-Focused – A documentary on change in Haiti
It is the poorest country in the western hemisphere. Over 10 million people call Haïti home, and 80% of the population lives in poverty – less than $2 a day. Adding to the misery, a large earthquake rocked the nation in 2010, killing 250,000 people and injuring over 3.5 million.
In this half hour documentary videographers Curtis Allen and Jay Stushnoff explore Haïti 5 years after the quake, and take a close look at the work being done by Compassion International to make a lasting change in the country from the inside out through it’s youngest citizens.
